I DONT KNOW.
For some reason i had this idea where John ends up on Alternia somehow.
And i for some reason find it funny if John alchemized items using Karkat's stuff. (thus the T-Shirt)
As for the weapons i mixed hammers and scythes and gave them to both. I think it looks cool...

John and Karkat are from the crazy awesome comic HOMESTUCK (c) Andrew Hussie
